Laptop not able to power on even when charging adapter is plugged in, is mainly due to a faulty charging adapter or Motherboard aka LogicBoard. This is a common issue across all IT devices. We have list down a few steps to identify and hopefully get your laptop back up and running again =D
✅ Solution 1 : Unplug your Charger / Adapter / Power Source connected to your Laptop and check for possible burn marks on your Charger. If you see any possible burn marks on the Charger, chances are it’s your Charger problem [ DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PLUG IN THE Charger AGAIN TO YOUR LAPTOP] as it may cause further damage to your laptop. If everything checks out, ensure all connection on your power source is firmly connected and try to power up your laptop again.
✅ Solution 2 : [For Laptop Battery that is removable] Remove your Laptop Battery and try to power up your laptop with just the charger only. If all above solution still can’t get your Laptop up and Running, most likely the cause is due to a faulty or damage motherboard. DO NOT Worry as most of the time the motherboard is *Repairable*.
